YEsterday Elizabeth, Jo, Cheryl and me went to the "12 Girl Band" concert (A band of 13 girls playing chinese instrument)! Well i met up with Elizabeth at 5pm and well straight to bugis as we know that if we wait for Jo and cher we will go crazy(late Queen) (Lolzzz)! Well than meet Jo and cher at around 6pm at bugis and had our dinner at saki sushi! After we are done with our dinner we take the MRT to Kallang and take a cab to the Indoor Stadium. A road to the stadium was blocked due to the NDP rehersal, had to go through another road (not sure which road!) Anyway the road was filled with cars and lots of "Soldiers Lorry".? Well just lorries filled with army guys and they are waving to every cars passing them(lolZz including us!). We reached the stadium and the concert goes well, nice performance by the 13 ladies! They made me wanna practice hard on my dizi (chinese flute)!
*** After the concert its already 10.45pm and theres so many people waiting for cab (i doubt that any cab will be going in there unless they called for a cab). Well since theres so many people and cars we decided to walk our way out! We thought we know the way out so we walk along the road and walk for like 20 to 30 mins?? ALong the highway and finally we realise that we are along the road of Nicole highway(outside the national stadium). Only the four of us(wearing mini skirts, LOLZz) and a few cars passing by, the road is really dark and look deserted! Actually i admit im quite scare so i sticked so closely to elizabeth! After we are really tire and sweaty we walk to the opposite side of the road and try to hire a cab but after trying for 15 mins there are no cab ( all are hired or on called). Actually i don't mind paying the on call fees but i don't know why they don't wanna call a cab!
So we waited and waited, finally we gave up (luckily we gave up) and cross a overhead bridge to take the bus! At that time i think its around 11.30 or 45pm . We are all so tired and sleepy!!!
The bus journey was long and boring. Cheryl and Jo alighted at tenah merah, elizabeth alighted at bedok interchange and take a cab home! Finally i reached home at 12.20am and washed up..
I was so tire that i laid on the bed and fell asleep with the lights on!!Its really a fun night out and i really like the feeling of walking by the quiet road with a few friends, feel really calm and peaceful!
